Learning colors with eggs and puffs

I had an idea for a game to learn colors. Dd loves to eat Gerber puffs, she would eat the whole container if she could and within minutes. I've put them under plastic egg halves before to slow her down and give her a little activity. So, I'm thinking I will get a few different colors, probably just 2 to start, then put a puff under one of them and tell her which color it's under. I can hide them behind something while I put the puff under so she doesn't see where I'm putting it. Yes, I like this idea, can't wait to give it a try! You could glue numbers on top of boxes too for learning numbers.
